IF YOU PLAN ON STAYING LOCALLY, MAKE RESERVATIONS EARLY AS JUNE IS A POPULAR TIME AND HOTELS AND CAMPGROUNDS ARE LIKELY TO FILL UP EARLY. Try the Ojai hotels first and if they are full Ventura is a very good alternative. It is approximately a 15 mile drive from the ride start and it's a beach town with a nice downtown area and lots to do.
