Bike riding through mountain Ojai Valley Century header logo

Due to Highways 33 and 150 being closed to traffic, of specifically closed to bikes, Soule Park closed for Construction, and lastly the unexpected loss of our Insurance Agent of 17 years, passing away, the Board of Directors have been left with no choice but to postpone the Ojai Valley Century (OVC) till October 12, 2024. CalTrans says that they will have the roads open by then. If we were to hold the OVC June 1st, we would only be able to offer a fraction of the rides we normally offer. We know this is an issue with planning with accommodations, and travel. Please feel free to contact us, and hopefully we will be able to help with changes in reservations, etc. We would also like to thank you for the support of the Scouts, and our ride. We look forward to hosting you in October.

Lastly, our hearts go out to the family of Ed Moore, who has been a behind the seances icon to the Southern California Cycling Community. Ed was responsible for insuring the Lion's share of the Cycling Event that take place in So Cal. In addition to that, he was the Ride Director for the historic "Tour De Sewer", in Orange County. He will be missed tremendously.

Welcome to the 19th Ojai Valley Century Bike Ride - Saturday, October 12th, 2024

New for 2023 we are adding two additional new routes, one further out Hwy 33 to USFS Ozena Fire Station 72 at Lockwood Valley Rd, and the other with half the ride on gravel of the Ojai hills. More details coming soon!

The routes of the OVC take you through a cycling Shangri-La nestled below the stunning mountain views of the Los Padres National Forest. Our routes offer a mix of flats, mountains, beautiful country, the Pacific coast and good weather all in one place.

We have something for everyone, from a half-metric century for beginners to our Hammerhead for the truly hard-core riders.

The OVC offers unrivaled support at our well-stocked rest stops, SAG support, a full lunch and a delicious, post-ride meal.

Our ride central will be at Soule County Park in Ojai.

Are you part of a cycling club or group? Contact our ride director to inquire about our club discount.

We look forward to having you on the ride! Come see why the Amgen Tour of California has selected major portions of our routes in EIGHT of their scenic races. Experience firsthand why Southern California Bicyclist magazine put OVC on the cover of Issue #137, Active.com named our ride first in their write-up "10 Rides to Do Your Own Tour of California" and Bicycling Magazine, with readership over 2 million, recommended our ride in their guide to best cycling.
